the end of the world
today is the end of the world for a young woman i know. her husband was the passenger in a vehicle that rolled on a country road last night, killing him. the driver was released from hospital this morning, with minor injuries.
they have a daughter, soon to reach her first birthday.
they'd bought their first home - a fixer upper, and were planning their futures together. looking forward to raising a family and growing old together.
now there is no future together for them.
it will be a day of many kleenexes.

Oh, that is so increadible sad!
My cousin who lives in Tennesse lost her husband, and nearly her own live back in November. She was in a comma for the longest time, and was thought to be brain damaged. And the doctors didn't give any hope for her to live. She not only lived, but walked out of the hospital. She said she had to get better, her two sons needed her.
This poor young lady is in pain, and morning, but her baby needs her.

that is so sad and hard to deal with ,
I guess you knew them well, and at times like this it’s always difficult to know what to say. But this young lady will greatly appreciate just your presence and support I am sure.

the funeral was yesterday... pretty awful. more about evangelizing than about offering any sort of comfort or compassion to the family.
