blerg!

Yes, blerg!

(I borrowed that from Madcap Mum. it's a magnificent expletive!)

I look out the window at the ice coating all horizontal (and some vertical) surfaces, and the blowing snow under arctic grey skies, and I bellow BLERG! At Mother Nature.

Now, I know this it just the lacy fringe on her petticoat as she brushes it over us on her way out. But does she have to starch it quite so much? It’s a rough, abrasive, harsh garment. I can’t imagine why she insists on ALWAYS wearing it – or why she insists on raking it over our tender, exposed flesh.

Still snowing, snowing, snowing down here. Yoiks! Well, at least we're getting some kind of moisture.

Hi,

No snow here! Even though the weather men were predicting it. We don't get snow very often here it's like every 10 to 15 years, so when we do get it it's like a celebration although a very cold one.

Janice almost spoke too soon. She and I live 30 miles from each other and both got hail yesterday with snow nearby.

Canada graciously let us borrow their weather. Thank you good neighbor.

we've had snow overnight, but it tends to melt into slush, it looked pretty first thing, I worry about the birds though.

Right after the spot in the dictionary where blerg would be - if it were an authorized word - is the word 'blessed' and you seem to be overly 'blessed' with the icy conditions. Still 'blerg' is much better than many I have heard and at one time long ago, said. :) ec
